Custom Length Stainless Steel
Tremolo Arms For Fender Stratocaster Style Guitars
Will fit
American Standard &
Vintage Strat's, Mexican Strat's, Japanese Strat's & Squier Strat's
or any guitar that uses
10-32, 5mm or 6mm attachment threading.
The featured tremolo arm is the 4¼" DG style length.
Custom manufactured to the
same length specifications as DG's Black Strat's shortened 4¼"
tremolo arm.
Pictured above is a representation of the featured 4¼"
shortened tremolo arm.
The upper arm shown above is how the 10-32 American Strat,
5mm Mexican Strat, 5mm Japanese Strat and
5mm Squire Strat arms are manufactured. The lower arm is how the larger 6mm Squier
Strat arm is manufactured without a plastic tip. The 6mm arm is much
thicker and feels very nice and smooth with the rounded tip end instead of the
traditional plastic tip.
Our tremolo
arms are custom manufactured for the Fender Stratocaster
guitar from Precision Ground 303 Stainless Steel. The
Precision Ground finish provides a very smooth and clean appearance and
the 303
grade stainless steel offers
strength, durability and excellent machinability to
produce clean and accurate threading. We polish each tremolo
arm to a fine luster for a finish very similar to chrome. Each of these
tremolo arms offered here are threaded at the attachment end. Custom manufactured in
Stockton, California USA.
Important points of reference for selecting the
correct
tremolo arm style and length:
The standard Fender Strat
tremolo arm is 6" in length.
The standard Squier Strat tremolo arm is 7" in
length.
David Gilmour's tremolo arm is published in Phil Taylor's
book "The Black Strat" as custom shortened to 4¼" in length which is the same
length as
Fender's Custom Shop David Gilmour Signature Model Black Strat. These tremolo arms
WILL NOT fit the
American Deluxe Strat guitars, they use a
pop-in tremolo arm.
Selecting the correct "Style" for your guitar:
STYLE 1: These tremolo arms will fit the American
Standard Strat with the 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge or any vintage American Strat
bridge that uses a 10-32 threaded tremolo arm.
This is the Default tremolo
arm you will receive if you do not specify otherwise.
STYLE 2: These tremolo arms will
fit the Mexican, Japanese, and the Squire Strat’s which all use the 5mm metric threaded tremolo arm
(M5 x .8).
Squier describes their 5mm tremolo arm as the "Smaller
Thread" version.
Just make sure you mention that you want a 5mm
tremolo arm.
STYLE 3:
These tremolo arms will fit the Squier Strat with the larger 6mm threaded tremolo arm. Squier describes this larger tremolo arm as having "Large
Threads" which is 6mm metric threading (M6 x 1.0). These 6mm arms will
NOT have a plastic tip due to the larger
diameter of the arm does not allow the traditional plastic tips to fit. Instead the tremolo arm will have a rounded and polished arm tip just like the
American Deluxe Strat pop-in arms. A nice modern alternative approach to
the tremolo arm style. Just make sure you mention that you want a 6mm
Squier tremolo arm.
If you are unsure as to the correct tremolo arm attachment
threading on your guitar we may be able to assist or you may need to consult the
manufacturer to determine the correct tremolo arm threading, but ultimately it
is your responsibility to know which is the correct tremolo arm for your guitar
and place your order accordingly.
