They are a snap to use:  

Separate the two halves.

Put a pair of pin bars (while little things) in place (usually for me this is the upper channel, same orientation).

Put the film chips in place.

Adjust the stereo window by sliding the chips horizontally while freeviewing the stereo pair.  For a beginner, just center the film chips in the mount aperture openings.

Snap the two halves together – Done!

Finishing touches include writing with marker the title and other info in the front and putting a sticker with my name and address in the back.

Adjustment of the stereo window is very easy since the film chips slide parallel, being supported by the pin bars.

Vertical adjustment is precise, done in steps of 0.1mm (changing the orientation of the pin bars changes the vertical difference – details are in the enclosed instructions).

No rotational errors!   The system of pin bars assures that there is no possibility of rotational error when you do the vertical and horizontal adjustments.  For me, this is the biggest advantage of these mounts, and that’s the reason I recommend them to beginners.

Their extra thickness and stiffness is a plus in stereo projection.

Being made of plastic means that they do not have cardboard dust like some cardboard mounts, they do not have oils and will not scratch the film (like some metal mounts), and are reasonably maintenance-free (just store in a dark, dust-free place).

They come in a large variety of aperture openings (plus a unique system for vertical cropping to either 20 or 15mm).  A cropping system is also available,

They are easy to label by writing on the light side with a marker.  You can also easily reuse them:  Open the mount, remove the film chips, done!  I use rubbing alcohol to remove previous labels.

I am a big proponent of these slide mounts and I recommend them for beginners or anyone who wants to project their stereo slides.  The biggest advantage is that they eliminate rotational mounting errors (one film chip is rotated with respect to the other, a major problem in stereo projection). 
I have even written a series of Tutorials, which I have for sale in a pdf file or DVD, in my ebay store.
Now, I use RBT mounts for my best slides and the ones I project.  That’s because I shoot a few thousand stereo slides a year.  If I used RBT mounts for all of them, I would be in the poorhouse by now!  But I know of many beginners or less prolific stereo shooters who use RBT mounts for all their slides, taking advantage of the convenience and precision of these mounts.  The RBT mounts have become very popular with time.  Quite a few of our stereo club members now use these.
If you are a beginner, I recommend trying these mounts, and also the slip-in mounts and heat-seal mounts.  The best way to do this is to get my stereo slide sampler (offered for sale in another auction) which contains samples of all these mounts. This way you can try all the mounts and see what you like for a larger order.  Also, do not forget the archival stereo slide storage pages and the slide storage boxes!

As many of you know, I have been a fan of the Bogen/Manfrotto slide bar for stereo photography since a friend of mine “discovered” this slide bar several years ago.  I have one myself  and I always carry one in my camera bag when I travel. Through the years I have sold hundreds of these slide bars and have received very favorable comments.  In my web page: http://home.att.net/~drt-3d/toys/bogen/index.htm I compare this bar with others which are more bulky and cost more.  The Bogen bar is much better, in my opinion.
Now, “the amazing” Bogen slide bar is even better!
The cork-type material is replaced with plastic which is more durable and shows better resistance to slipping. The entire bar now is an attractive black color.

What I find interesting is that it comes with two 1/4″ screws and one 3/8″ screw.  (I have no idea why it comes with two 1/4″ screws – you only need one and in the instructions it still shows one)  Most probably you will only need 1/4″ screw, which leaves you with two screws (1/4″ and 3/8″) to use for other projects.

This is the first commercially produced Medium Format stereo camera after the Sputnik. And it is a great improvement.

And now, it is EVEN BETTER!  
After being in the market for one year, the company has taken into account user feedback and have made improvements.  Here is a summary of these improvements:

The catch to lock the Prism in place was changed to a secure, positive action, locking button. 
The metering system has been redesigned and improved. 
The bubble level has been redesigned.
The Prism is still removable when desired for storage or replacement with a Hasselblad waist level finder.
Added to the camera outfit is a new snap-on three lens sun shade.
A user (who got one of the new redesigned cameras – his second camera!) wrote to me:
“As far as I can tell, the major difference in this version of theTL-120 is that the light meter cell actually resides in the camera body instead of in the prism. There is a little light sensor on the back part of the metal frame that holds the prism and it seems to point upwards into a recessed hole that reads light collected through the prism.  Thus, in the older model, the light level LED indicator would not work at all if the prism was detached. In the current revised model, the light level LED indicators do work”

Without a doubt this is one of the best true stereo cameras EVER made. It certainly beats the Sputnik and Rolleidoscop in terms of lens quality, easy of use, viewfinder and shutter speed options. The speeds are accurate, as is the light meter. The lenses are well coated. A 2.8 taking lens is very bright and easy to focus with. The camera can easily obtain orthostereo conditions, something most stereo cameras of ANY format cannot. 

The images are as sharp as any I’ve seen from any of my medium format cameras.  They are flat, edge to edge.  Neither my Sputnik nor my Rolleidoscop has been out of its bag since I got my TL120-1.

As for the camera I found it very easy to hold and use. I can hold the camera with both hands and still use my fingers to adjust both the focus and f-stop. The light meter can be activated by either a button on the back left (using your free left thumb) or by half depressing the shutter release. The viewfinder was easy to look through while wearing glasses and the adjustable diopter brought the image into very sharp focus.  As for the images themselves I couldn’t be happier. The exposures were right on, they are very, very sharp especially considering I was hand holding at 1/30th on some, and the color and contrast are great.

Just like the Stereo Realist in 1947, you are not getting just a stereo camera.  You are getting a complete medium format stereo camera system (three large boxes), consisting of the following:

Box #3: Handheld Medium Format Viewer
All you then need is a roll of 120 Slide Film and batteries and you can have your first slides mounted and ready for viewing with no other supplies needed.

Each camera comes complete with a One Year – Manufacturer’s Warranty. The Warranty and Repair Facility is at the factory in China.  Should warranty work ever become necessary, consumer must pay for shipping to the factory. Warranty work, and return shipping is paid by the manufacturer.

I have been looking for a good inexpensive stereo viewer for a long time now.  Then, the Loreo Lite 3D Viewer showed up, and my prayers were answered.  This is one of these stereo products that was destined to become an instant success, and for a good reason.  Consider these benefits:
