We have found a general rule of thumb for matching engine size with how many Cells are needed is:
 
4cyl=1-2 Cells, 6cyl=3-4 Cells, and 8cyl=5-6 Cells.

WHY USE A MULTI-CELL SYSTEM?
 

Like many other HHO producers, we’ve borrowed the following from Patrick Kelly’s document “D9.PDF”, as it is printed in the “Water4Gas” guide. Mr. Kelly has done all the mathematical homework for us in this excerpt:
The current flowing through the cell determines its HHO production. This is an absolute key factor in gas production, and one of the most difficult to control accurately and economically. The greater the current, the greater the rate of gas production. The current is controlled by the concentration of Baking Soda in the water and the voltage across the cell. The voltage across the cell has limited effect as it reaches a maximum at 1.24 volts. Up to that point, an increase in voltage causes an increase in gas production rate. Once the voltage gets over this limit, increasing it further produces no further increase in the rate of gas production. If the voltage is increased above 1.24 volts, the extra voltage goes to heat the water.  This can be a slight advantage, but not much. (The advantage is that heat creates more water vapor which is good for cooling down the engine.) Let’s look at the math. We’ll simplify it here for the sake of understanding. Assume that the current through the cell is 2 amps. In that case, the power used to produce gas is 2 amps x 1.24 volts = 2.48 watts. When the engine is running, the voltage at the car’s battery terminals will be about 13.8 volts as the alternator provides the extra voltage to drive current into the battery. The excess voltage applied to the cell is about 1.24 less than that, or 12.56 volts. The power which heats the electrolyte is now 12.56 volts x 2 amps = 25.12 watts.  That is more than ten times the power being used to produce gas!  This is very inefficient. In short: The more cells, the less heat and more HHO. Or, more correctly, higher energy efficiency for HHO production. This is true up to 6 or 7 cells max. (Although KempCo has run more) 

So…with a Multi-Cell System, you’re dividing the currentwhich keeps the heat down, allowing you to add more catalystto produce even more HHO, and at the same time ensuring that the water doesn’t “steam off,” which would concentrate the electrolyte and cause thermal runaway? 

Yes!!  The best way to reduce heat and increase HHO production is to divide the voltage applied to the cell by using more than one cell in series, or in other words several cells connected in a daisy-chain across the battery. With two cells, each will get about seven volts across it and the gas production will be doubled. If space in the engine compartment allows, a chain of six cells can be used which means each receives about two volts and the waste power is reduced to an absolute minimum – while the gas production is six times higher.  With the higher rate of gas production, it would probably be possible to reduce the chosen current flowing through the cell (good for smaller batteries and alternators such as in gas scooters and go carts).

In order to see significant mileage gains
for fuel injected vehicles,
will you need a MAP Sensor “Enhancer”?
 
 
If your vehicle is fuel injected and has an oxygen sensor and a factory MAP/MAF sensor,
which is pretty much all vehicles ‘96 and newer and some as far back as ‘86,
a means of communicating with the vehicle’s computer is necessary
to explain the (now) cleaner emissions.
The emissions are what the oxygen sensor reads, and are then deciphered and passed on
by the engine’s factory MAP/MAF sensor to the vehicle’s ECU (Engine Control Unit),
which, among other tasks, is constantly adjusting the fuel injectors
to deliver the proper fuel-to-air ratio.
The addition of a hydrogen on demand system adds more oxygen to that mixture
and skews the reading delivered to the factory MAP/MAF sensor.
This reading is perceived by the ECU as a “lean” condition in the combustion chamber,

    Using 8 oz. of KOH in one gallon of distilled Walmart water max amp between 25-35 on 6″ 21 plate cell 50 amp pwm volo performance hho. I want to run my sons 97 honda civic 100% on hho so far 50-60 mpg half city, half highway with your cell at 25-35 amps before 20-27mpg
   I’m still in the air with the Hz if only u can help me with that??????????……PLS ANSWER……  I need more production so im willing to upgrade the alternator to 165amp so i can produce closer to 10 liter per min. this mean double my amps to 60 and run it straight to my fuel rail when it reaches 60 psi shut the gasoline off completely.  I will keep you posted also I have many pictures just non finalized. its in a few cars but once I max out the honda i will send you detailed pics

You really need to let people know that the production will increase after the first 72 hours of operation, that way they know what a great product their getting. I was wondering if you could build me a titanium dry cell? I would also be intersted in a Nickel cell. I know these arent really easily obtained materials, but your help would be greatly appreciated! 10 good reasons why you should buy PE Cells!!!
1. PE has been continuously experimenting on hydrogen systems for over 3 years
2. The cell is designed to have the best flow of hydrogen gas.
3. The cell design gives the best electrolysis of the water.
4. The cell parts all lineup together making it a great looking cell
5. All the SS bolts go through the SS plates, gaskets, and endplates.
6. There is no need to check for continuity because the plates can’t come in contact with each other, except where the brass bolts are connected on the charge plates!!!
7. The plates are all .060” apart giving an even electrolysis of the water, making no hot spots on the plates, in turn giving a longer life of the cell.
8. The gaskets are not O-rings, which will give irregular spacing between the plates, like so many of these cheap made O ring cells.

9. PE cells will not leak electrolyte like so many of the other cells on the market, causing corrosion of cell bolts, and valuable metal body parts on your vehicle!!!
10. PE’s Cell have been checked with 104 pounds of air pressure, with no leaks.

Even though the HHO cells only produce 1 to 4 PSI in making the gas, all of PE cells have been pressure checked with over 100 pounds of air pressure to check for leaks before it is shipped. Can other cell manufactures say their cell will take over 100 PSI of air with no leaks, and proven it by plugging all the inlet holes except one and put an air hose on it with a pressure gauge, showing the pressure?  If they claim they test their 4″ & 6″ O ring cells and they will take high pressure, ask them to show you a video on their Ad using the same procedure we do on our cell Ad. We don’t think they can or will, because the O rings will Blowout!!! 

During the testing of our cell design, we dropped the test cells 3 feet onto cement, with little or no damage in order to check the durability.

We use only the best of everything. No short cuts. Our plates are not sheared, drilled, or hydraulic punch pressed. PE’s bolts go through the plates, and not outside. The bolts outside the plates are cheaper to manufacture, because lesser holes are punch in the plate. When the bolts are outside the plates the plates will start to move after the cell heats up. Vibration will make them move as well. When the plates start moving you can loose electrolyte as well as production of gas. Our cells will not leak electrolyte like so many other cells which will cause corrosion of bolts on cells and vehicle body parts.  With the bolts going through the plates on our cell’s, we can get an even amount of torque on the gaskets, not so, with the bolts outside the plates. Because the plastic will bow, leaving an irregular pressure on the gaskets in different areas of the plate. This will happen no mater who makes this type of cell. In the design of PE cells, our plates keep a unform distance of .060” between the plates throughout the cell. There is no variation in the distance between the plates. This makes PE cells more efficient in the production of the gas with even electrolyzing and not creating hot spots on the plates.

The 316L stainless steel, end plates, and the gaskets are cut on a $1,000,000.00 laser machine. We use Top of the line brass bolts through the charge plates for the electrical connections. As you can see, when you compare our cell with the other cells, PE is the best looking on the market. What you see, is what you get. No matter which cell you buy, they will look the same, only a different size, allowing for the number of plates.

PE cells are for the serious minded Hydrogen On Demand experimenters. It is time to move up from the jar. It is time to quite taking a bath and dry off with one of the 12 PE dry cells.

It’s the 2002 Chrysler Town and country van guy in Athens, GA.

The initial numbers are in. (3.3 Liter V6) 30 Mile loop with some traffic stops, produced 28.5 MPG!!!! And that is without any fine tuning. I feel sure I can get it up to 30-31 MPG with some minor adjustments! Best this van did in the past is 19-21 MPG. I am useing one of your dry cells and the flash chip.

I have one of your units on my 84 honda accord……26 years still runs like a fine oiled machine…….I use 94 octane fuel with my hho gas unit… allways have…..costs a few cents more, but the mileage is worth it…
now i get 68 mpg on highway 36 in town driving….

Hi, Richie — Looks like you’ve posted my (old) results on your web page or eBay listing. Let’s update that. The last time I tested (by making a 65 mile highway trip) I got a 35.6 mpg reading. This represents approximately 28% over my normal (27 – 28 mpg) mileage. My next step is to purchase a ScanGauge2 so I can really optimize the system without doing all those wasteful road trips. I’ll let you know if I’m able to achieve any better results. By the way, I recommended you to someone looking at your eBay listing.

Our new Dry Cell
is the result of hundreds of hours of testing and incorporates
revolutionary design technology.  It features 316L stainless steel
18 gauge Electrode plates. The cell measures 7-3/4" tall X
5-1/2" wide and is only 4" deep so it will fit in tight places. This cell will easily
produce enough HHO for engines up to 6 liters.  

Designed and
constructed from only the finest materials available, our new
DOUBLE WHOPPER
SUPER DRY CELL is the next generation in Hydrogen Generators. It
utilizes electrode plates that are
precision cut 3" X 7" 316L 18 Gauge Stainless Steel.
All plates are cross hatch sanded to promote bubble release and
then cleansed in an Ultrasonic cleaner at 40,000 Hz leaving them
microscopically clean.
The plates are sealed between high temperature 3/32" thick high
temperature and chemically resistant gaskets that are precisely
machine cut. No inferior
automotive grade gaskets or o-rings used. The end plates are
Clear 1/2" thick high impact cast PMMA. No Extruded Acrylic
used.

 All our Cells are run for 5
hours to insure there are no leaks and to pre-condition the
plates. This Double Whopper Kit is capable of producing 2 to 5 LPM of HHO
depending on the concentration of electrolyte and Amperage used.
