…… This is another one of those items that I know must have some rarity, but I really have no idea what its original purpose was. The large Brass Reflector measures 11 7/8” in diameter and including the 6 ¼” diameter base the overall height is 19”. In the front is a 5 ¼” diameter magnifying glass, which is adjustable up and down. In the middle is a small candle pricket with a 3 ¾” diameter bobeche for catching the wax. I am sure devise is for a candle as I can feel the left over wax on the edge and on the point. You can see that this lighting devise is a sculpture all by itself, but I am sure it must have had a special purpose. What that purpose is I don’t know, do you? I have looked everywhere and although this is quality made there are no markings. The surface has a gun metal finish and because of the construction I am sure this candle reflector is from the early 20th century and not the 19th century you might think. That’s why I think it is Scientific. However, with the popularity of the Industrial Look, which is all the rage, this would make a very interesting candlelight. I couldn’t resist trying a candle and to tell the truth it does not cast that much extra light, but the effect is wonderful. … I am may not know exactly what this circa 1920s Brass Candle Reflector is, but I do know one thing, some eBayer is going to win this auction, as there is No reserve. …… We list every day and you never know what you might find listed without any reserve.

From Estate, Fabulous Antique Solid Brass Ornate 6-Arm Chandelier with original peacock blue/gold iridescent finish glass tear drop prisms. There are a total of 6 arms with one candlelabra light on each. One of the plastic around the lights is worn. There are 66 original crystal glass prisms, there are two different sizes – 2″ and also 3″ ~ It is missing one large prism, should be easy to replace. The chandelier is in excellent working condition. Measures 22″ across x 21″ tall (not including ornate 42″ chain that attaches to ceiling cap). The ornate ceiling cap is 5″ in diameter. Very heavy!…
